Genes play a key role in parenting: Children also shape parents behavior

Scientists study genetic influences on parenting.  It is still unknown if the role of genes has a direct impact or indirect impact (i.e. parent personality).  The study also shows that parenting is not only shaped on the interaction the parent demonstrates to the child but also how the child responds thus making parenting the cause and consequence of child behavior.
